CopyCatCloset...Layers!

So first I owe you all an apology for last week.  Work was crazy on Thursday and nobody was around to take photos of my spandex CopyCatCloset outfit.  :(  this week its LAYERS!

Today I made sure A woke up with me for CopyCatCloset.  Its layers.  I love layers.  This is due to my love of anything and everything Fall.  In NYC the cold of Fall is amazing!  The wind breeze between the buildings.  Its a perfect reason to wear scarves + sweaters + knit hats.
Today I decided on a simple outfit, with my go to blazer.  I love them.  They make dressing up an outfit a snap.  Unless your one of my girlfriends and apparently I constantly look like I'm heading to a business meeting.  I, for one, prefer to be prepared to network.  And have a little fun too.  Thats all.

Anyway - today's outfit incorporate a pretty special sweater.  Special because it is orange and brown.  I know, I know.  Special for the horizontal stripes (I know, never a +).  But most importantly special because this sweater was meme's.  A's grandmother's.  She passed away earlier this year and I loved her very much.  I knew meme beginning in 2006, when I was a studen in France.



Today, with the beautiful fall weather, and the chill in the air, I decided to wear it.  Not my most fashion forward outfit, but its a conversation piece.  To each person who has asked me about sweater today, I have explained its purpose.  And the fact that meme made this sweater over 40 years ago!  Each person who hears the story of me not only wearing it, but posting about it, and wearing it with pride are loving my sweater.  And I thank them all for the support of my 40 year old sweater.

Ok tout le monde c'est CopyCatCloset encore.  Cette semaine c'est "plusieurs épaisseurs" (layers).
Bref - vue que je n'ai trouvé personne la semaine dernière pour me prendre en photo, j'ai demandé à A. de se lever avec moi.  Il n'était pas tres content, mais il m'aime, donc ça va.  :)

Cette semaine j'ai adoré l'idée "plusieurs épaisseurs". Ca devient vraiment l'automne ici, et donc je mets des écharpes tous les jours.  Je mets même 2 écharpes.  En plus, je peux porter des pulls comme celui la.

Je sais, celui la est un peu spécial.  Oui oui, c'est orange et brun.  Oui oui il y a des rayures horizontales. MAIS, c'est la mémé d'A. qui l'a fabriqué il y a 40 ans.  Vu qu'elle n'est plus avec nous depuis mars, je voulais finalement porter son pull.  En plus, il fallait que j'attende qu'il fasse assez froid.  Maintenant... c'est parfait.

Meme mes collègues adorent ce pull... pas l'orange et brun nécessairement, mais le fait que je le porte.  Et que je suis fière de le porter.  Je le porterai encore.  C'est tellement doux, et ça me fait penser a mémé.  Je l'ai rencontrée en 2006 et je l'ai aimée tout de suite.  Je l'aimerai toujours.

Alors - voilà mon pull, un peu special, avec des autres épaisseurs pour CopyCatCloset.  J'espere que vous aimez mon post ET mon pull!!!
