Sparkle! Sparkle!

For those of you that don't really know me, I love anything that sparkles. I don't mean a fully bedazzled denim jacket from the 80s, or a handbag covered in bling to take to work. I mean shoes, chunky rings, and jewelry in general.
I love nothing more than an all black outfit and sparkly shoes. With a stellar accent ring. Something people notice amongst the black.
I tend to use this as my go to look, and always have...for as long as I can remember.
A few weeks ago when shopping for Fashion Night Out I found these shoes. They're Steve Madden. Reasonably priced. And they SPARKLE!
I love wearing them with skinny jeans and a light sweater with my other go to piece- a scarf. I tend to layer them so both scarves can be seen.
I love wearing these with an all black outfit to work.

Long Island

If you're visiting NYC, you should really try to take a day or two and head out to Long Island.  As long as it is nice out.  Its a decent drive (if you take the Mantauk Parkway) and its rather quick if you take the highway.
There are tons of little town that remind me of Princeton, NJ.  You can find so much - Coffee shops.  Little boutiques.  Delicious restaurants.

Macys - 10% discount

Hi Everyone - I just wanted to let you know that if you happen to have a European passport, you can be granted a 10% discount at Macy*s when you shop.  I thought all of you out in Paris may consider this when deciding on a visit to NYC.  ;)  And for you Americans with only an American passport, I'm sorry.  I feel your pain.

Long Island City... Up and coming

LIC is definitely up and coming. And going to be more awesome than it is already. This gem of Queens has some beautiful apartment buildings, GREAT restaurants and an amazing organic market. Foodcellar & Co.  

 
J'adore LIC (Long Island City).

C'est un endroit qui fait partie de Queens. Et c'est juste en face de Manhattan. Les loyers sont UN PEU moins cher, mais il y a tellement des choses a faire, et en plus c'est tranquille. Pas de clac-sonner de taxi. Pas un million de personnes en train de vous marcher dessous. En plus il y a beaucoup de petit magasins, petits restos, et des bars.

Je suis allée a Foodcellar & Co avec mon colloque ce weekend. Elle est super! Il y a du fromage (VRAI fromage), des bonnes cafés, des bons petits plats, de la nourriture bio. Aussi, la magasin a une petite fleuriste. M, la vendeuse, était magnifique. Elle m'a explique plein de petit choses par rapport aux fleurs, et la magasin de son oncle.

There is nothing a girl loves more than diamonds jewelry!!!!!  Rien!  J'adore des bijoux!!!!
Un jour, je veux des boucles d'oreilles 1 karat, diamant, que je m'achète moi meme. Mais bon... je ne suis pas encore là.  Pour l'instant, je me contente d'acheter des choses jolies.

Une super marque à découvrir à NYC : Kate Spade

Kate Spade est une designer qui a lancé il y a 20 ans maintenant sa marque de sacs, vêtements et accessoires. Avec ses imprimés et modèles originaux, elle a su crée un univers à part, adulé par les New-Yorkaises. Poulpy ne déroge pas à la règle et m'a fait craqué en 2009 pour un sac à main bicolore en cuir vernis.
