BLOGGER BUTTONS - HELP Please!

  I need a moment to vent... how is it possible that I have been sitting here for over 3 hours, and cant figure out a blogger button.  I took a photo, saved it, made it 125x125 pixels... I uploaded to Picassa.. after, of course, having created an account. But Picassa, after 10 hours of work, makes zero sense to me.  So while I realize I'm being 150% Debbie Downer, how...do...these..things...work? I just dont get it.  I've tried multiple different functions for saving the photos... Picasso or a dummy post that I keep until the end of time... but, when I go to Picasso, I cant find the URL for the photo... and when I use the dummy post, and  view in HTML, and copy and paste the URL... its doesnt work. Please take pity...

Sparkle! Sparkle!

For those of you that don't really know me, I love anything that sparkles. I don't mean a fully bedazzled denim jacket from the 80s, or a handbag covered in bling to take to work. I mean shoes, chunky rings, and jewelry in general. I love nothing more than an all black outfit and sparkly shoes. With a stellar accent ring. Something people notice amongst the black. Wanderlust...the place to be (in Paris)

Cet été, en passant régulièrement devant la Cité de la Mode et du Design, je m’interroge sur cette terrasse bondée de jour comme de nuit. Je me renseigne donc d’un peu plus près et j’apprends qu’il s’agit du Wanderlust, le nouveau lieu bobo parisien inauguré le 6 juin dernier (ben ouais, je savais pas..) If you're visiting NYC, you should really try to take a day or two and head out to Long Island.  As long as it is nice out.  Its a decent drive (if you take the Mantauk Parkway) and its rather quick if you take the highway. Chai Tea Concentrate

Fall is coming, I know it is.  I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the cool weather, snuggly sweaters, and one of my two favorite drinks - Chai Tea.  I can drink it hot or cold.  I can drink it all day long.  There is something amazingly comforting about a hot cup of Chai while reading a book.  Or working.  Or spending time with friends enjoying the leaves changing, and a walk throughout the city. Yoga Nidra

Au mois de juillet, bien décidée à tester le Yoga à la rentrée, je consulte le planning des cours proposés par la ville.  Je fais mon choix non pas selon le type de Yoga (Nidra, Ananda, Anusara...) mais en fonction des horaires, sans me douter qu’il existe tant de différences selon les variantes.Je me présente donc mardi au 1er cours de Yoga Nidra de la saison.Moi qui m’attendais à m’asseoir en position du lotus et après avoir saluer mon plexus solaire, à enchaîner différentes positions, je me retrouve après quelques étirements, allongée sur un tapis de sol avec un coussin derrière la tête (j’étais bien entendue la seule à ne pas savoir qu’il fallait ramener son petit coussin..).La prof plante le décor, le but est de ne pas s’endormir pour rester dans un état de relaxation intense entre...

Long Island City... Up and coming

LIC is definitely up and coming. And going to be more awesome than it is already. This gem of Queens has some beautiful apartment buildings, GREAT restaurants and an amazing organic market. Foodcellar & Co.     J'adore LIC (Long Island City). C'est un endroit qui fait partie de Queens. Et c'est juste en face de Manhattan. Les loyers sont UN PEU moins cher, mais il y a tellement des choses a faire, et en plus c'est tranquille. Pas de clac-sonner de taxi. Pas un million de personnes en train de vous marcher dessous.
